Apple Crumble

Apple crumble is possibly the most delicious way to enjoy apples- especially at this time of year when apples are super affordable!

Give this apple crumble a go- either make one big crumble or portion into little ramekins for cute single serves.

Makes 6 individual apple crumbles.

  • 3 large apples (granny smith are best) peeled and chopped

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 Tbsp butter

  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice

For the crumble:

  • 1 cup muesli/ granola/ whole oats

  • 1/2 cup flour

  • 2 Tbsp butter- soft

  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup


  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.

  2. Drizzle lemon juice over apples and set aside.

  3. In a small pan on medium heat- melt butter and add apples and cinnamon then cook for 5 minutes.

  4. In a bowl- mix together the crumble ingredients.

  5. Split the apple evenly into ramekins then top with the crumble mix.

  6. Bake for ~15-20 minutes or until golden.
